Thinking, and Golfing, in Saskatoon

Montreal GM Rejean Houle is awaiting word from former captain Guy Carbonneau, who has been offered a position in the front office. Carbo is playing golf this weekend in Saskatoon. If that seems like a funny place to go to play golf, it should be noted that he's there to play in a charity tournament featuring Brenden Morrow, a former Dallas Stars teammate who also happens to be dating Carbonneau's daughter.

Carbonneau also has a meeting with Dallas general manager Bob Gainey this week to discuss a possible management position with the Stars.

Said Houle: "That's pretty good. Most guys retire and hope they can find a job, and Guy has two of them."
